We are a church that believes in loving God and obeying his commandments. We hold the Bible to be the infallible, inerrant Word of God, assured that “all Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16 ESV). We adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 and believe in church autonomy as stated therein.
First Baptist Church of Guin is a multi-generational church. We long to see families grow and mature in the Lord. Our FBC Kids program seeks to build a foundation on the rock of salvation. Our FBC Students program desires to build upon that foundation and promote an ever growing love and knowledge of the Bible and Jesus that will stand the test of the enemy. Our ReNewal Groups are adult small groups built around the idea that “your name is known and your needs are met” through deep lasting relationships with God and others. Our corporate service is a place to recharge in the power of the Holy Spirit, through worship and the Word!
