Dr. Kenny Hatcher
Associate Pastor/Senior Adult

Bro. Kenny was called to preach and ordained in 1973 and will soon celebrate 49 years in the Gospel ministry.  He married Phyllis Raburn in 1975  before she graduated from Marion County High School in 1977.  They have one daughter, Amy (Nick) Walker and two grandchildren.

Bro. Kenny graduated from International Seminary in 1987 with an earned D.Min degree and has served on several Alabama Baptist State Convention committees, including 2 years as Chairman of the Christian Life Commission.

Bro. Kenny began serving as Senior Pastor at FBC Guin in April 2012 and has enjoyed being a part of what God is doing in Guin and Marion County.  He especially enjoys doing in depth Bible studies with printed notes for everyone.  Seeing people come to faith in Christ is the high point of his ministry.

Bro. Kenny is also a recording artist with Chapel Valley Studio, having worked with them since 2004.  He enjoys doing the occasional concert near home and the Christmas in the Smokies concerts each year in Pigeon Forge, TN.

Bro. Kenny and Phyllis recently purchased property north of Guin to build their retirement home.  God has placed before them an open door and a loving church family.

Rev. Zane Miles

Zane has spent most of his life in the Marion County area.  He is married to Danielle (Chaffin) Miles of Guin, AL.  They have two children Hank Miles (12) and Hoyt Miles (8).  Zane and Danielle have spent their entire married life in Guin.  

Rev. Zane Miles holds an Associate in Arts History Degree from Bevill State Community College and Bachelor of Science in Religion from Liberty University.  Zane is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Leadership.  

He has served his entire eight years of ministry at First Baptist Church of Guin.  He began as the student minister in the spring of 2014 and has enjoyed working and teaching children and students the Word of God.  Zane’s role is to lead the volunteers and students of FBC Kids and FBC Students toward an ever growing relationship with the Lord.

Zane is an avid sports fan. Although he enjoys all sports, baseball is his favorite.   He volunteers his time to help coach at Marion County High School and in the Guin Parks and Recreation programs.  He enjoys spending time with family no matter if that is in the backyard or on trips to see God's creation. He also enjoys the outdoors, hunting, and training for endurance events (mostly triathlons).  His family is extremely involved in the community, so you will find Zane, Danielle, and the boys out and about enjoying the small town life of Guin on a regular basis!

Mrs. Crystal Gosa
Children's Director

Crystal has lived her entire life in Guin, AL. She is married to Jason Gosa also of Guin. They have two children, Lydia (17) and Lukas (12). Crystal is a second grade teacher at Guin Elementary School where she has taught for the past seventeen years.

She has been a member of First Baptist Church of Guin for ten years. Throughout those ten years, she has been blessed to be a part of VBS, both as a worker and the director, and a teacher of God’s Girls (1st-6th grade girls). Crystal has been the part-time Children's Director at FBC Guin for two years.  She strives to find creative ways to reach children and their families.  

Crystal enjoys being part of FBC Guin's Women on Mission, which provides many opportunities for her to serve her church family and community. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and shopping.

Joe Vigneaux
Music Director

Joe and his wife Cathy moved to the Guin, AL area in March of 2020. They have been married 31 years, have 3 children and 7 grandchildren.

He has served as a worship leader since 2001 and has enjoyed leading others to a deeper relationship with the Lord through our created desire to worship God.

Joe loves to travel and entertain. He spends most of his time listening to music, talking about music, and loving on grandchildren. But, whether it's a day at the beach, hiking in nature, or sharing a meal with friends and family, he finds joy in being with God and serving others.
